NATALIA jIMÉNEZ
Natalia works as a choreographer and dancer interested in the movement from
research, creation, health and pedagogy. The creations that give base to her
creative universe are: L_ENTES in co-creation with the choreographer Iris
Heitzinger, Project Conjugations and LA OBRA VACIA next to the playwright Jorge
Gallardo, some of these proposals are part of the editions of 2012 and 2105 of
Festival Grec of Barcelona, MESDEDANZA 22 and 23, CIUTAT FLAMENCO 2016 and
La Medida del Desorden, a piece created by the Group La Bolsa and the artistic
direction of choreographer Thomas Hauert.
As an improviser of the movement she shows interest in dialogue with music and I
join artists such as: The guitarrist, Sergi Gómez and the percussionist Alvaro
Garrido, Gaspar Alloza and Arnaud Clerc. Some experience on improvisation are in
Nits of improvisation of the Horse Dancer 2016 next to the Za, Cabo San Roque,
Sarah Fontán, Clara Tena and Victoria Macarte in the Auditori of Barcelona, in CIM
2016 Barcelona and Exploding Plastic Fest 2017.
She has worked with many different artists and companies such as Guillermo
Weickert, Abraham Hurtado, Jeremy Wade, Ex Nihilo, Vertébro, Aitana Cordero,
Angels Margarit / Cia. Mudances, Senzatempo, Vértebro, Juan Luis Matilla, Quim
Bigas, Bebeto Cidra, Tuveri Guido and Thomas Hauert and others. She received
received an award in Escenarios Sevilla 2013 for her interpretation in Lirio entre
Espinas of Guillermo Weickert. Throughout her career, she takes part in community
projects such as Trans-formas association (social and oppressed theatre) in
Barcelona, among Guido Tuveri in the social initiative of the center of yoga, dance
and meditation Oliva House in Sardinia (Italy), La boldina permacultura, Sevilla
and with Colectivo Arriero in the meetings of Arts and Ecology in Santa Lucia,
Cádiz.

X-rays in motion
These is an intensive of Contemporany Dance and Improvisation
Inspire by the Contemporany Dance and the Shiatsu bodywork manipulation, it is proposed a specific work about contact, as a way of print mechanics and physical sensations in the body of the other.
We will be focus in the creative relationship of the assistant and the mover as a motor for the individual creative development of individual and duo material.
In the work of moving and be moved by the other, we will explore the different physical tones of the body and how them affect the way the other is listening. Playing with the intensity of this relationship in duo o trio, with the goal of empower the ability of the imbalance, and find new floors for the movement and the humanization of mechanics.
